Farewell to Jimmy

It is very sad news to hear of Wee Jimmy Smith´s passing away, in January this year, after a long illness.(He is sitting to the right, wearing a red sweater).To us Jimmy was Scotland´s answer to Fred Astaire. He was so well loved by all who met him. He danced, sang and always had a happy word for everyone. We all have our own special memories of Jimmy. We´ll never forget the time he danced in the Molly with a 6´6 Norwegian lady! She was on the dance floor and Jimmy up on the stage and he still only came up to her chin. He had us all in stitches that night. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary and family at this time. God bless you Jimmy, may you rest in peace. Des, Anna, Brendan and Daniel.
